The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced their 16-member squad for the upcoming 3-match ODI series against Ireland. The series is scheduled to be played in UAE beginning from Jan 18.
The three ODI matches that are being played as part of this tour will be part of ICC’s World Cup Super League. Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host all these three games of this series. With the tenth edition of Big Bash League underway, some of the Afghanistan T20 format stars are currently touring in Australia. However, all those players will join the National squad ahead of the series.
All the three ODIs in this tour are Day games and will start at 10:00 am local time (11:30 am IST). It is even stevens at the moment between these two teams in the ODI format. Out of the 26 games played against each other, Afghanistan and Ireland have won 13 games each.
