They were bowled out for 212 runs before conceding a 109-run lead to Australia in the first innings! Lankans batted even poorly in their second innings scoring just 113 runs before getting bowled out! Australia chased down the target of 5 runs in just 4 deliveries to complete a 10-wicket victory!
Spin bowlers from both teams dominated this match with Australia's Nathan Lyon being the pick of the bowlers with 9 wickets! Travis Head registered bowling figures of 4/10 from his 2.5 overs in Sri Lanka's second innings. A part-timer getting such figures speaks a lot about the nature of that pitch!
