India defeated England by a margin of 49 runs in the second T20I to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match T20I series in England! Despite posting just 170/8 on the board in 20 overs, Indian bowlers bowled really well to restrict a power-packed home side cheaply!

Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 46* runs off 29 runs to guide India to a competitive total after they were reduced to 89/5 in 10.4 overs. Both Indian opener Rohit Sharma (31 off 20) and Rishabh Pant (26 off 15) provided a good start before a collapse during the middle overs!
Chris Jordan was the pick of England bowlers with bowling figures of 4/27 from his 4 overs. Richard Gleeson had a wonderful debut having registered 3/15 from his 4 overs. The spell was only memorable with the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Virat Kohli! Moreover, Kohli and Pant departed in the same over which turned out to be a double-wicket maiden over!
Bhuvneshwar Kumar broke England's back during the run-chase by removing the openers very cheaply! David Willey (33* off 22) and Moeen Ali (35 off 21) batted valiantly but couldn't take their team home in this match! Among the Indian bowlers, Bhuvi picked up 3 wickets while Bumrah and Chahal accounted for 2 wickets each. Hardik Pandya and Harshal Patel shared a wicket apiece!
With this victory, India have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match series with a match to go. The third and final T20I of the series will be played at Nottingham on Sunday (Jul 10).
