Toss Update: India won the toss and opted to field first.
After being sent into bat first, Pakistan scored 147 on the board losing 10 wickets in 19.5 overs. Mohammad Rizwan was their top scorer with 43 runs but he consumed 42 deliveries to get there! Pakistan's no. 11 Shanawaz Dahani scored 16 runs off 6 deliveries at the death or else their scorecard would have looked even poorer!
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of Indian bowlers with 4-26 from his 4 overs while Hardik Pandya also contributed with the ball with figures of 3-25 from his 4 overs. Incidentally, Hardik bagged all his 3 wickets off short-length deliveries!
India, chasing 148 runs to win, got over the line losing 5 wickets in 19.4 overs. Hardik Pandya (33* off 17) was India's hero with the bat as the run rate kept on going high! Opener KL Rahul registered a golden duck while Virat Kohli (35 off 34) and Rohit Sharma (12 off 18) batted with a very poor strike rate!
Mohammad Nawaz bagged 3 wickets while pacer Naseem Shah picked up 2 wickets.
