Dawid Malan with the bat and Chris Woakes with the ball were the major contributors as England comfortably defeated Pakistan in the 7th and final T20I of the 7-match series. Both teams dominated each other throughout the series and England won the final game which mattered the most in the end to bag the series!

Toss Update: Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first.
After being sent into bat first, England scored 209 on the board losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. All the batters throughout the innings performed superbly with Dawid Malan (78* off 47) and Harry Brook (46* off 29) being their top scorers. Two of the 3 wickets to fall in England's innings were due to mix-ups in the middle as they were even targeting tight singles with the series on the line.
Mohammad Hasnain was the only wicket-taker for the hosts in this innings. On a lighter note, they had dropped three catches which proved very costly in the end. Two of those catches were dropped by Babar Azam and the other by Mohammad Wasim.
Pakistan, chasing 210 runs to win, managed to score 142 losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. The Visitors managed to pick up both Babar Azam (4 off 4) and Mohammad Rizwan (1 off 4) cheaply and that was the match as well as the series for the England team! Shan Masood scored a half-century but that wasn't enough as the target was sky-high!
Eight Pakistani batters registered single-digit scores as they lost the match eventually by a huge margin of 67 runs. Chris Woakes was the pick of England bowlers with a 3-wicket haul from his 4 overs.

Dawid Malan has been adjudged as the Player of the Match for his crucial contribution of 78* not out off 47 deliveries with 8 fours and 3 sixes. With this 7th match, the series comes to an end with England winning it by 4-3. A tight-fought contest in which England held their nerves to emerge victorious!
