After being sent into bat first, India scored 237 on the board losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. KL Rahul (57 off 28) started off India's innings with a superb half-century while Suryakuamar Yadav (61 off 22) and Virat Kohli (49* off 28) were superb during the second half of India's innings!
Rohit Sharma (43 off 37) and Dinesh Karthik (17* off 7) too made notable contributions with the bat! Keshav Maharaj was the only wicket-taker for Proteas in this innings as he registered figures of 2-23 in his 4 overs.
South Africa, chasing 238 runs to win, managed to score 221 losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. David Miller (106* off 47) and Quinton de Kock (69* off 48) made notable contributions in this 16-run defeat. This duo shared an unbeaten 174* run stand for the fourth wicket but couldn't take them to victory losing the game as well as the series in the end!
