Rossouw scores South Africa's maiden T20I World Cup century

South Africa's no. 3 batter Rilee Rossouw out-batted Bangladesh as Proteas registered a massive 104-run victory in a one-sided affair! South Africa posted a mammoth 205-5 on the board after opting to bat first and bowled out Bangladesh for just 101 runs registering a thumping victory!

109 - Number of runs scored by Rossouw in this match for which he had taken only 56 deliveries. More importantly, he scored 7 fours and 8 sixes in this marathon knock!


2 - This is Rossouw's second century in T20Is, both came in this year. The first one was against India in Indore in October. Overall, this is the 7th century in the T20I format by a South African player.


6 - Rossouw is the fourth player to score two T20I centuries in a single calendar year. Incidentally, he is the third player from a full-member nation to make this feat. Colin Munro of New Zealand in 2017, India's Rohit Sharma in 2018, Sabawoon Davizi of the Czech Republic in 2022, Faheem Nazir of Switzerland in 2022, and Gustav McKeon of France in 2022 were the others to make this feat so far in T20Is.
