The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Sunday (Oct 02) has picked India’s squad for the upcoming three-match Mastercard ODI series against South Africa. The three-match series will kick off once the ongoing 3-match T20I series between these two sides get completed!

With the T20 World Cup just days away, the Indian selection panel decided to rest all their World T20 squad for this 3-match ODI series. Mukesh Kumar and Rajat Patidar earned maiden call-ups to the Indian squad at the International level.
Mohammad Siraj, Deepak Chahar, and Shardul Thakur form India's experienced pace attack while Kuldeep Yadav along with Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Ahmed comprise India's spin attack.
India have already secured an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ongoing 3-match T20I series while the ODI series starts on Thursday (06th Oct) in Lucknow. The remaining two ODI in this series will be played in Ranchi (09th Oct) and New Delhi (11th Oct).
