Rilee Rossouw, Quinton de Kock, and Anrich Nortje starred as South Africa crushed Bangladesh in the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup 2022 tournament at the SCG in Sydney. In fact, Bangladesh couldn't even score half of the target and also did not even top Rossouw's individual score!

Having opted to bat first, South Africa scored 205 on the board losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Rilee Rossouw (109 off 56) and Quinton de Kock (63 off 38) scored most of the runs in this total while stitching a superb 168-run stand for the second wicket. This was Rossouw's second T20I century, both coming in the same year!
Bangladesh, chasing 206 runs to win, managed to score 101 losing 10 wickets in 16.3 overs. Litton Das top scored for them with 34 runs while the next best was 15 runs by Soumya Sarkar! The humiliation was so big for Bangladesh as their team score in this match was three runs less than their margin of defeat!
Anrich Nortje was the wreaker-in-chief with figures of 4-10 from his 3.3 overs. He bagged three top-order wickets breaking the back of Bangladesh in this steep run-chase. Tabraiz Shamsi also supported him well with figures of 3-20 from his 4 overs.
Match result: South Africa defeated Bangladesh by a margin of 104 runs.
Rilee Rossouw has been adjudged as the Player of the Match for his crucial contribution of 109 runs off 56 deliveries including 7 fours and 8 sixes.
