Harry Brook is relatively fresh to the Test arena and he is making and breaking them in Rawalpindi, in just his 2nd Test match. He scored his maiden Test hundred in England's first innings in Rawalpindi and was aggressive during his knock scoring boundaries at will - 19 fours and 5 sixes.

On Day 1, he smashed debutant Saud Shakeel for six fours in an over taking 24 runs from it. This was the first time an England player scored as many boundaries in a single over and 24 runs. This record just belonged to Day 1 as the same batter broke his own record scoring 27 runs off another debutant Zahid Mahmood in the first session on Day 2.
This record feat by Brook on the second day started with a switch-hit six over cover region followed by three fours before belting one straight over the bowler's head which landed over the sight screen! Brook couldn't send the last delivery over the rope but he along with Will Jacks managed to run three taking the runs tally in just that over to 27 runs!
Harry Brook scored 153 runs off just 116 deliveries before he was dismissed by Naseem Shah, caught at the square leg boundary. His innings included 19 fours and 5 sixes and scored at a strike rate of just over 131, fuelling the Bazball concept!
As the records stand, the 27 runs scored by Brook are the most for an Englishman in a single over in Tests. Also, these are the most runs conceded by a Pakistan bowler in this format of the game. Prior to Zahid's unwanted feat, Younis Khan (vs New Zealand in 2001) and Danish Kaneria (vs West Indies in 2006) jointly held this record for Pakistan having conceded 26 runs each in an over in Tests.
