Australian veteran batter Steven Smith has been in an unbelievable run in Test cricket format. And he added yet another feather to his cap in the ongoing second Ashes Test match against England at Lord's.

With a boundary off Ben Stokes in the 42nd over on Day 1 at Lord's, Smith completed 9000 Test runs in Test cricket. Having achieved the milestone in the 174th innings, Smith is currently the second fastest to this milestone.
Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara in 172 innings and India's Rahul Dravid in 176 innings are at the first and third positions respectively after Smith's feat.
