India bowl out Pakistan for just 191 runs in Ahmedabad

Indian bowlers ran a rout of Pakistan as the latter were bowled out for just 191 runs with around 90K crowd witnessing the game from the grandstands of Ahmedabad! The Pakistani side had their moments of dominance during this innings but Indian bowlers did not give them breathing space in this crucial match!

Imam-ul-Haq got Paksitan a brilliant start hitting Mohammed Siraj for three boundaries in just the 2nd over! And when things were looking good for them, Siraj trapped Abdullah Shafique (20 off 24) LBW in the 8th over before Hardik Pandya sent back Imam (36 off 38) in the 13th over.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan added 82 runs for the third wicket and settled nerves in their dressing room for certain! Babar got to his fifty before he was bowled on 50 by Siraj in the 30th over! At this stage, Pakistan was in control of the game with the scorecard reading 155/3 in the 30th over.

However, things did take a hit with the dismissal of Saud Shakeel in the 33rd over who was trapped LBW by Kuldeep Yadav! That was the start of an unbelievable collapse! Kuldeep, in the same over, cleaned up Ifthikar Ahmed with a brilliant wrong'un.

Jasprit Bumrah then cleaned up both Mohammad Rizwan (49 off 69) and Shadab Khan (2 off 5) in the space of three deliveries that spanned across his two consecutive overs. All of sudden, Pakistan was reeling at 171/7 in the 36th over. Hardik dismissed all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz (4 off 14) in the 40th over to even complicate things for Pakistan!

Ravindra Jadeja then bagged the wickets of Hasan Ali (12 off 19) and Haris Rauf (2 off 6) in the 41st and 43rd overs respectively as Pakistan were bowled out for just 191 runs in 42.5 overs. From 155/2 to 191 all out! That is some collapse! Five of the Indian bowlers bagged 2 wickets each making this only the third such instance in an ODI World Cup innings.
