Defending Champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have revealed a striking new jersey ahead of the 18th edition of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL). The video concludes with the integration of 'Three Stars' into the fabric of the jersey, symbolizing KKR’s three championship triumphs. Players such as Rinku Singh, Venkatesh Iyer, Ramandeep Singh, Manish Pandey, Vaibhav Arora, Anukul Roy, Mayank Markande, and Luvnith Sisodia are seen donning the fresh kit in the video.
A notable addition to this year’s jersey is the third star placed above the team crest, celebrating KKR’s title wins. Additionally, the jersey features a special Golden TATA IPL badge on the arm, introduced by the tournament to honor the reigning champions of IPL 2025.
Designed with a theme inspired by the "Three-edged Star," the jersey was simultaneously launched for sale on Knight Club, the team’s official app, website, and social media channels. Marking the occasion on 03/03, KKR introduced a groundbreaking initiative with their #InTheKnightSky campaign, elevating their status in the T20 leagues.
As a tribute to their championship victories in 2012, 2014, and 2024, three actual stars in the night sky have been officially registered and named after KKR’s iconic motto: 'Korbo,' 'Lorbo,' and 'Jeetbo.'
