Chasing 250 on a slow, turning pitch, New Zealand struggled against India’s spin-heavy attack, with Chakravarthy emerging as the wrecker-in-chief. Finishing with figures of 5/42, he claimed key scalps—Will Young, Glenn Phillips, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner, and Matt Henry—each dismissal showcasing his guile and variation.
